Esch Index: Week 8 results, final regular season rankings, and first-round playoff projections
The Esch Kansas High School Football Index projected 40 of 47 week-eight winners correctly for an accuracy of 85.1%. Included in this post is the Index’s top 25 teams and top 10 offenses/defenses heading into the playoffs.
The Index picked 83.3% of week-nine winners correctly in 2022.
REMINDER: An eligible game is one in which a 4A, 5A, or 6A team is playing another 4A, 5A, or 6A team. Games against a 1A, 2A, 3A, or out-of-state opponent are listed in the system as a bye week for that 4A, 5A, or 6A team.
